I have been such a slacker, it has taken me over a month to get this done so I'm finally doing it. This years Christensen family reunion was held in Oregon at Rockaway Beach, July 12th through July 16th. Josh and I, his brothers family, a niece and his dad all chose to fly instead of a 16 hour drive. Two of Josh's sisters and their families drove, they had to leave Thursday morning to meet us Friday night. Friday night we flew into Eugene, Oregon, picked up our rental cars and drove to Newport where we stayed at my brother-in-laws sisters(Celeste) beach house for the weekend. Saturday afternoon the whole family went crabbing, that was once in a lifetime experience. Josh's dad drove our boat and we let Josh do the dirty work pulling the net up to see what we got. In the two hours we were out there, which was long enough, we caught some big crabs, we even caught a starfish.

Sunday morning Josh and I went to Ripley's Believe It or Not. It was interesting.

Later on Sunday we drove about 45 min down the coast to go to a neat lookout.
Monday night we left Newport and drove to Rockaway Beach where the reunion was held. For the next week we stayed in a beach house right on the beach. The weather was so nice, no rain but it got a little chilly at night. It was a nice time to get away from work for Josh and I, we were not ready to leave at the end of the week and come back to reality, but it was time to get back to our quiet peacful life. It's nice to be with family though.
